As a business device, definitely, many of us will be traveling together with our device, so as to stay connected with our messages. However, BIS is still essentially a data plan and we are still bound by the standard mobile internet plans – only cover local usage.
So, besides the wifi trick mentioned in the TIPS section, there is also the roaming packages which our telcos offer.

To subscribe to the above plans, you will need to have AutoRoam/Pay As You Roam, a BlackBerry device and a BlackBerry Service plan.
To activate: Dial *7626, Select:
Option (1) for 5 Days
Option (2) for 1-Month pass
This means that you MUST leave your APN BLANK!!!

Web surfing will be included if u have a 3gb BIS plan.
Note: you still need a BIS service. When you are roaming, the data consumed will be charged through the roaming packages, not from your BIS.
