Refurbished Sets

Refurbished Sets
You have been hearing about stores selling refurbished sets, warranty exchanges giving refurbished sets. But what is a refurbished set?

When you purchase a device, you realized it is spoilt, you return it to the company to either repair it or get one to one replacement.
In the event of a one to one replacement, the company is most likely to issue you a refurbished set. So, what happens to your set? They will take it in, repair it and (sometimes) replace the exterior casing to give it a “like new” look. This repaired device is known as refurbished goods.

Refurbished goods maybe sold by the company at slashed prices, with usually one month warranty, or even shorter. (sometimes, its sold as “as it is” – no warranty) (for example, Creative or Apple)
